어릴 적부터 물이 정말 좋았다. 물이 주는 고요, 빛의 아지랑이, 맑은 물방울 소리 모두가 너무 도 사랑스러웠고 그렇게 물에 안겨 있을 때면 행복했다. 그러다 언젠가 엘레나 칼리스와 같은 수중사진작가의 작품을 접했고, 수중에서 촬영을 하고 싶다는 꿈을 가지게 되었다. 얼마 전, 드디어 오랜 버킷리스트 중 하나였던 수중촬영을 해내었고, 이번 작품들은 그 꿈의 결과물이 다. 내가 매료될 수밖에 없었던 수중의 아름다움이 이 사진들을 통해 관객들에게도 전해지기 를 소망한다.

 

I have loved water since my childhood. The silence water gives me, the haze of sunlight, and the clean sound of water were so adorable that I was so happy whenever I was in water. In addition, the photos of underwater photographers like Elena Kalis and Anatoly Beloshchin inspired me to dream of taking an underwater photography. Recently, I finally achieved one of my bucket list ‘becoming a model of underwater photography’, and my exhibition of this conference is the result of my dream. I hope you also can feel the dreamlike beauty of underwater through the photos.
